Sccy?

I would view the sccy as a "saturday night special" from another generation.

If the people at SCCY did their homework right and use decent materials, I would not call it a "Saturday Night Special" simply because at least they copied a pistol that actually works well.....

The Sccy is a better built Kel-tec P11. The dimensions are a little different but basically the same design. This gun is not intended for people who shoot thousands of rounds at the range. Most owners will likely fire one box of ammo per year and leave it in their dresser. The long, heavy double action only trigger makes sense for these owners.

Just wondering why you feel the SCCY is better built vs. the P11, where like you said it's the same design?

On another forum, but comparison between models was discussed here:

post number 7 will make you cringe, especially since there was no recall from SCCY! I'd have serious concerns with these guns.

I've had my CPX-2 for about 2 weeks now and have the following observations.
Pros- Excellent fit and finish, good sights, easy field strip, very smooth but long and somewhat heavy trigger pull, slide easy to rack, accuracy good after getting used to the trigger. No ftf fte etc so far.
Cons- Grip somewhat slick with dry hands, trigger will take several magazines full to master, magazines seem somewhat cheaper than the rest of the pistol, have to remove a pin to field strip(which could get lost).
Just got some Talon rubber grips in the mail yesterday so will install them and continue to shoot it. Have not shot it nearly enough to consider replacing my regular EDC (Walther PPs).
