I had a .22LR barrel chopped to 4". Kind of stubby.

But it works out pretty well with a can installed. (yes, it's the same barrel, but on a different frame from one pictured above.)

They make great suppressor hosts.

Or short-barreled rifles.

For all of you who shoot 30/30 - can you give some load data? I have a TC in 3030, 44, and 22. I am interested in all that you have to say....

33.5 grains of IMR3031 and a 150 Nosler BT gives me between 2000 and 2100 fps from a 12" hunter barrel (compensated). I've killed five deer with it, longest was 90 yards. It's deadly. 3" high at 100, dead on at 200 and it groups 3" at 200 yards.

Hunting with a pistol is the closest thing to Bow hunting that I've found. My closest shot was about 20 yards with my SBH in 44 mag my longest shot was 275 yards with my 7-30 waters on my Antelope.

Man -- thanks for those pics!

It really gives me a sense as to the nearly unlimited potential of the TC platform! :)
