So as I wait for the scope I'm likely getting to go on sale for 10% off at the store I'm doing my research on suggestions on bases and rings to mount said scope. The details:

Rifle: Winchester EW Long Action
Objective Size: 44mm
Tube Diameter: 30mm

I'm looking to get a 15-20moa base, the kind with the cutout for the ejection port.

Any suggestions as to base and rings?

For me it would be an EGW or Warne base and Warne rings.

After mounting 15-20 scopes a week for 2.5 years the conclusion I came to is DNZ, Talley, Burris, Leupold, Weaver and Warne are all excellent with equal quality. What to buy is totally dependent on aesthetics most of the time.

I like Warne rings I have them on several setups. I’ll look into EGW and Warne for a 15-20 MOA base.

EGW looks like they only carry a 0 MOA base for Winchester 70 LA.

I got lazy with mine, it was always a back up to my other -06 so I went with 2-piece Weaver bases and Grand Slam Windage adjustable base medium height because they were available. It was my intention to sell this one, I just couldn’t quite let it go but it’s shot fine as-is with no loss of accuracy based on the cheap setup. If I were going classic id say Talley, EGW for good solid modern base/rings. Scope below is a 42mm objective with 1” tube so medium should be more than high enough, and I would suggest looking at clearance for lows since you’re using a 30mm tube.

Yes that will work, I went through their site and could only find their 0 MOA. Thanks!

The EGW website is funky to say the least. If I hadn’t been on it a bunch of times and called them a couple of times I would have come to the same conclusion you did.

lf you order a base from them and it doesn’t come as is with torx head screws, pay the extra couple of dollars for them. That’s another funky thing about them. Some of their bases come with torx as standard and some you have to pay extra for.
