If you own a CZ rifle you can sympathize with me. I'm having issues with the bolt of my rifle hitting the rear bell of my 3x9x40 loaner scope. Step 1 is to get higher rings, but I would like to maximize my clearance.
So I need a recommendation of a compact-ish scope that has a small rear bell to put on a .223 bolt gun. I've been eyeballing the leupold rimfire scopes, but the 60 yard parallax setting weirds me out some. I don't fully understand it. From what I can tell, most 2x7x32 scopes still have the same sized rear bell as the 3x9x40 and larger. I would like to stay under $250 new. I am open to any and all suggestions. (other than buy off ebay)
