Hello Guys,
Just received a Super Blackhawk Hunter and am exploring scopes for said weapon. The kick of the 44 Mag will require a well made optic. I am asking if anyone out there has info that would lead to a good choice. I don't want to shoot a few rounds and have the scope shoot sh#t .
I now open the discussion to all the well rounded opinions you get here at THR. Thanks in advance, now I will sit back and watch the fur fly. LOL

I've had a Bushnell Trophy 2-6x on a .44 mag Super RedHawks for over 20 years, shooting heavy loads of 240 and 300 grain bullets. Still holds zero.

2x Leupold on dad's SBH Hunter. It takes a lot of practice to find the cross hair in a hurry.
I think a large objective red dot type scope might be more useful than a magnified optic.

Still, the Leupold has held up to heavy duty hand loads.

I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 2-6X on my SRH 480 it's holding zero and has excellent glass.

I like a fixed 2x for revolvers. The Ultradots are fantastic for a red dot but I still prefer the magnification of a 2x scope. IMHO, the variables are too much for a revolver.
