When a vepr 308 bolt slams home and the back of the receiver it makes a distinct CLACK that people notice at the far end of the firing line so you are incorrect in comparing the various recoil impulses between 308 and x39. But you could be right on the scope.

The AK rifles are not precision rifles. Making them precision is an interesting project I am sure, but it is not their nature. I have an SLR with a QR dogleg mounted red dot. It returns to sub MOA (minute of adversary, or minute of animal) for sure. I am fine with that. If I ever shoot a money contest, I will click adjust ad hoc.

The optics mount will oscillate after the trigger is pulled, not while you aim. It will return to a steady zero when the oscillations subside. As long as there isn't any free play in the mount, it works fine in semiauto fire.
