Scope on Marlin 925?

I've got a Marlin 925 .22 magnum and a Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 scope (currently on a .223)...am thinking about putting Redfield on Marlin & upgrading the scope for CZ .223...any "red flags"? Is there any reason this wouldn't be a good match? Scope came with .223. Am I right that a rifle scope is fine on a rimfire? Thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem. I had a Zeiss Conquest 3-9 on my 925 for a while... no issues. I have since switched it out for something with higher magnification though.

I have that Redfield Revolution on my Marlin 982VSS 22 mag and I love it. Don't think you will have any issues.
