Scope rings - What value priced recommendations?

Rings have become pricey lately. For our OP's set up, it is not necessary to spend a lot. I would suggest Warne or Talley; very high quality at a modest cost. My preference would be anything NOT Chinese.

My go to rings are Warnes for rails and Talleys for direct mount......

Ive got set of Weaver Grandslams your wecome to have if you want them. They do work ok, but im not a huge fan, id honestly rather have the quadlocks.

Well, I wish you had made the gracious offered sooner.

I bought a set of grandslam med and got them yesterday. They said up to 40mm med which my scope is.

After mocking ot all up, I feel like I'm craning my neck too far forward (possibly stretching too low for comfort as well) and can't pull the scope back any further as it hits the front of the base. The med height seem pretty low to me compared to others brands I've used on 10/22s.

On the American Ranch, reversing the base allows the scope to be brought back a little but not sure if that's the solution.

I just ordered the high version and will fit it up and make my decision from there and return the other.

I got the rings for $26 and feel the quality is fine. Smooth and snag free. Keeps the theme going (not really a them guy but hey).

It's a budget, non china versatile package and feel once I get the ring height and scope position sorted out, it will fill the roll I what I want it to.

Lol, sorry i completely forgot i had them till i looked at my scope shelf.
Think mine are meds also lol.

Not cheap but good value, anything Warne, especially their rock solid QD rings. I really like the vertical splits, different to install the first time but very streamlined and svelte. And they are USA.

I don't have a budget recommendation and use Warne QD for everything. I'm only here to remind you that the American rail is very tall and you can usually get away with rings one step lower than usual for a given objective diameter. In your case, lows.
