Pic #4 is The Log. Custom OTT 6tcu barrel. 16.25" long, 1.5" in diameter, 9 pounds on the hoof. Topped with a Tasco 6-24X scope, it doesn't really qualify as a pistol, not sure what I would call it. But from the bench it's been known to give groups like this at 100 yrds...

Thanks RyanM, I did not know about the Surbu shorty until this thread. That is why I asked if you made it yourself. For me, I think I will let the trust purchase one in the near future from my class III dealer here in Houston. It defiantly looks like a handful to shoot, and would be a conversation piece with the hunting buddies.

I can definitely understand "cost effectiveness" as a key factor in tactical decisions...

I mounted my EOTech on my old ruger 10/22 because the iron sights were too far gone, and I happened to have an EOTech without an M16. I bought the EOTech for my trip to the sandbox, and I just didn't have anything better to do with it when I came home.
