checked gunbot powder and saw unique 8 lbs and bullseye 1 lb from cabela's 14 hrs old but still not marked off as being sold out so put in an order for 2 items each for some bullseye, unique and 2400. Don't know what restrictions were on items purchased but knew in past it was 2 items of the same powder. anyway threw in some small pistol primers and the order came through. (1:20 pm mountain time 8/5)

too bad I just made a trip to a local reloading shop to get some 4lb jug of 296 yesterday. I would have preferred working up the 44 mag loads with 2400. but good to have both on hand I guess.... except for coming in the same billing cycle .

I hope this is a sign of pistol powders being back.

I have been picking up a pound of various pistol powders every week or so for the past few months. I don't care if I wind up with 100 pounds I am still going to stockpile it as much as I can. Primers haven't really been a problem for me locally. Projectiles I need more of and I am thinking about casting my own on a limited basis. I have some old lead here and may as well use it.

Jrdolall_ primers haven't been an issue here also and I've been letting my small pistol primers dwindle down til I had something else to order online as it's 4 to 5 dollars cheaper per thousand. Would hav e made more sense buying more but the bill was getting too high.

What's amazing though is it lasted as long. 14 hours back then.
