It is vitally important that we get judges into the U.S. Supreme Court that affirm all of our Rights under the Constitution.

With the age of the current judges, the next president will probably be appointing a few new ones in a few years, the same time that important 2nd Amendment cases are reaching the High Court.

5/4 is so very close, it could have gone the other way. We need to make sure that by the time, Incorporation (looks to be the first one, since lawsuits were filed almost immediately after DC v. Heller was ruled), Machine Gun Ban, and others reach the High Court, we have a majority of Judges that will uphold the Constitution.

DC v. Heller was such an important ruling, stating that the 2nd Amendment is an Individual right (also especially in the "Court of Public Opinion" where people only repeat one word, either Individual or Collective. The only word they know. Now that word is Individual.), but Would it be a hollow victory if once we get Incorporation, licensing, the machine gun ban and others to the U.S. Supreme Court we have a majority of Judges who are against the 2nd Amendment? The 2nd Amendment wouldn't mean much if it didn't apply to the states.

Make sure you all vote this year. And not to get political or suggest who you should vote for, but I have a feeling Obama and Hilary would pick judges who are against 2nd Amendment rights.

Also remember, just because a judge says one thing does not mean that is the way he will finally vote.

B.O. voted against the nominations of Alito and Roberts. McCain for.
