Prager U is a very good libertarian YouTube channel -- good viewing for liberty-minded folks if you have the time.

After it being posted here I have started looking at the videos....some pretty good ideas there. Some I don't agree with.....but most yes.

And I think it is that way for most people....it would be hard to find a person that agrees with 100% of a political parties position.

By defining certain categories of rifles for militia use, the President could significantly affect state "assault weapon and magazine bans" and cases making their way through the courts until more permanent legislations are signed and/or SCOTUS reverse the 4th Circuit Court ruling on "assault weapon"

There is no evidence whatsoever that Trump is working on such an EO. Besides that, these things would exceed the scope of an Executive Order. Amending the statutory definition of the militia, in the U.S. Code, would require legislation. And certainly, the president, due to separation of powers, cannot tell the courts how to decide cases. No raining of parade. It turns out the draft EO is from an attorney from Virginia but it certainly got people talking and thinking about the possibilities.

Still, I am glad Hillary did not win the election as we would be having totally different discussions about executive orders she would be drafting.

I do believe we have an opportunity here to do some very pro 2A things to protect the rights of the people to keep and bear arm.
