Second handgun Walther P99

[Glock22]

Right now for handguns I have a Glock 22. Lately I have been thinking about getting another handgun that isn't a Glock. The one that I have been thinking about most is the Walther P99. What can you tell me about them? What do you think is a better or more accurate caliber in the P99, 9mm or .40?

The Walther P-99 is a great gun

I have the 9mm. I'm also picking up a new S & W M & P in 9mm today.
You can't go wrong with either. Beretta 92FS would be my additional recommendation

Go with the Walther...

Go with the Walther in 9mm I have the P990 (DAO). I would recommend against the Smith, and go with an original 100% Walther. You can still find used ones for ~500 a local shop near me has one for 539 in excellent condition.
