Joneb, ah yes, thanks, I see that now in the books for .223 and 7.62X39, but not for .308. Do you know if it works for that?

Re the bullet weight, I want to go with the more-or-less standards: 123 for 7.62X39, 55 for .223, 150 for .308. Basically I find I do well for my simple paper-killing purposes if I emulate Federal American Eagle rounds in all my calibres. (That is TBD for the 7.62X39.) Not the best there is, but far from the worst, and they seem more than anyone else to have plain vanilla designs that work in any gun you have or will ever buy.

Reread post #6, the type of action will matter.
Go to Accurate's web sight and down load their data on PDF it will show data for 2015 with 308 Win. With one powder you sacrifice performance somewhere, you will need to decide which cartridge will suffer.

I haven't tried BL-c2 for 7.62x39 but Hodgdon shows data with 125gr bullets.
I find BL-c2 works well in .308 Win. little dirty but accurate.

3GunEric, thanks for that link. My books are getting a bit long in the tooth at 3-5 years old. Good to know you've been having success with it for so long.

Joneb, thanks for the additional advice. Have powders on the way and will post the loads I get for the next guy who asks my question, and any cycling issues I experience with an AK.
