I'm looking for a rail for my AR build. Rifle will be used for fun time at the range and hopefully a pig hunt next year. In looking for a suitable rail for me, I came across the Seekins Precision SP3R rail. I like it from the pics I've seen but haven't handled one so I'll be buying blind. Does anyone on here have one? How do you like it? Are there any "proprietary" parts that require a special tool or is everything able to be accomplished with standard tools, IE: screwdrivers, AR armorers tool, etc?
It's this one: http://www.seekinsprecision.com/quad-rails-hand-guards/sp3r-mod-quad-rail.html
Other suggestions are welcomed as well. I would like to buy a fairly priced, U.S. made rail that will take a bit of use as I will run this gun thru a carbine class or two as well.
If you have one and feel like posting pictures, that's always good!
Thanks,
Christopher
