My grandson does all the shooting, i have enough for him to shoot for a couple of years.
When things open up again I now see where to invest in. Here locally the scallpers are selling $40 small rifle primers (1,000) for $325.

Sell 3,000 small rifle primers and you would have enough to buy a decent gun.

Exactly this. I'm in pretty good shape, but I don't like seeing my inventory decline. So I'm always looking to replace what I shoot or give away. I dont think it matters how big my "stash" is... I'll probably always feel that to a certain extent during shortages.

I could use some .30-30 brass though, and would prefer to have additional SPP on hand (I'll probably buy another case once they become available in quantity at reasonable prices again). I'd also like to try some larger, more accurate .224 projectiles at some point, and have my eye on some of RMR's new/old 69 gr. Bullets.

I’m solid on everything with 2 real exceptions. Time to load, and molds to cast bullets with. I have seen a few molds back in stock so I’m less concerned than I was a month ago, but I really need to find a few molds this summer. Luckily I still have bullets for everything I am shooting so it’s not panic mode, but I need a dozen or so molds to have freedom from the runs on bullets.

Should have added time to shoot;)
I've been down to less than 20 rounds per week on average this year.
On the bright side. I have a job, wife and kids.
I don't even have time to sort things out for the pif thread.

I’m blessed to be in ok shape on my components!
But these are the times where spp 45 acp looks mighty good! Except in my case, it doesn’t really help when you’re very heavy into 9, 38spc and 357! Drats!
Do they make lpp 9, 38 spc or 357?
    No! Drats again!

Probably have 10 years worth of components..... maybe 15?

This whole mess is going to make a difference for me,in a VERY positive manner or direction. I have a few projects that have been on the "burner" for WAY too long. A scratch built 5" 1911(nowhere near an 80%). And a 4" Python that's getting the kitchen sink treatment.

Rifles; finally got off the ole duff and moved towards working with CF(carbon fibre). We have enough wood milling equipment to rival.... and probably pass, right many manufacturers. With a very well equipped machine shop to support it. Have built trad bows on a professional level.... With not a whole lot left in that arena, will be focusing more now on rifle stocks. Will leave it there, before turning this into a novel.

This sounds like a recipe for being out of components in the next shortage.

3000 of each SPP and LPP will get me about a year of range time, probably should get it up to two years though thinking about it.

I want, but not desperately need, one pound of IMR 4227 for some load development in my 460 S&W. Well.....a pound or two of RL 7 would be nice also! :) memtb

My components are pretty balanced so I don't have an excess of anything I'd trade. I'm good for probably 2-3 years but would buy anything I stumble upon that's at a decent price. And by decent price I mean not more than double pre-panic prices. For instance I'd pay $60/1000 for primers but not hundreds of dollars.

I do have lots of brass in the two calibers I shoot the most - 9mm and .223 simply because I often find a lot of those left behind by others when I go to the club range. Even though I already have thousands of those cases I just can't let them lay there, I have to pick them up. It's some kind of obsession I guess.

After the Clinton shortage, small by comparison, I started keeping a min 3K max 5K of each type of primers for the “working“ stock, then slowly built up the rainy day stock over time.

Haven’t looked for 7mm 160 gr Accubonds since I have some loaded ammo and I believe a box and a 1/2 of bullets. But now you got me going down to check, and put them on my shopping list.
