Took the SGL-31 to the range with the goal of:
Determining likely predictable group size with the weapon
Zero the rifle at 200 yds.
Ammo was silver bear 60 grain FMJ.
Optic is a Weaver V9 on a BP02 Side mount.

First group was 2.5 inches at 100yds with one flier "way out there" high and right. Subsequent group was 2.25 inches.
Temperature was in the upper twenties, wind was 0-5 mph at my back.
Groups were 5 shot groups.
Moving to 200 yds, the groups opened up to 4.5 inches. But they were centered and predictable.
Next I loaded up a 10 round mag and fired rapidly from the bench at a 8X12 plate at 200 yds. I only missed once.
I do think accuracy could be improved slightly with the rifle but my conclusion is that this rifle is 2.25-2.5 moa based on what I saw today.

More than enough to put one in the bad guy's chest from 100 to 200 yds with aimed fire.

Correction guys, I measured incorrectly the first time, it is shooting a consistent 2.125 MOA at 100 and 200 yds. This is why the hits on the 8X12 plate were so consistent. I engaged a couple blue rock pieces at 150 and was able to hit them after 1-2 tries as well. Horizontal dispersion is more than the vertical dispersion. Both the Vepr and Saiga 308's that I snuck into the fold are 1.75 MOA, so this new 74gery is about 0.375 MOA worse than those...so far. I will try other loads to see how things change. Of course reloading is pretty much out of the question, for now.
