Brown Bess musket, shark fin front grip, rails for thermal sight, laser, and chainsaw bayonet.

Make it a double barrel fowling piece and I'm in, the chainsaw can fit down between the barrels....

Edit to add: all joking aside, I do want a modernized lever gun with a suppressor, light and a red dot sight. I think it would be super useful. It's just hard to tear apart an old nice one to build it. Much rather find a bubba'd one or a new production. I like the patina of a used firearm...

As to that Ruger Bisley with the red dot---the rail could be shortened for the red dot or left alone for a scope mounting. If the frame is drilled for the rail, just
get a lower rail for red dot and scope. No big deal. The end result of any modification should be to get the gun to do what you want it to do.

I put a picatinny rail on my 16" Rossi. I can run a red dot or a LER 1-7 scope. I sealed up the furniture with UV resistant polyurethane varnish inside and out. Being stainless it's pretty much all-weather but looks more traditional.
