Should I shoot my new Colt Mustang?

Just bought a "never fired" Colt Mustang. I already have a Government model. Both are stainless. I used to carry my Gov. model daily, but now only on occassion. I carry a Bersa cc model instead.

Question: Should I just leave this new Mustang in pristine condition, unfired, uncarried? Will it affect its resale value that much if I shoot it?
