Value of my Colt Mustang

I've had this stainless steel Colt Mustang for a number of years and have moved on to bigger things.

I heard and noticed that these little guns have rocketed up in value. What is the going rate for a gun like mine:



Here is a close up on the slide (serials removed digitally). The gun has daily carry/holster wear (small dings and scratches), but otherwise functional.

I would say value of that gun on gunbroker right now upper 500s to lower 600s. It's amazing how much these little boogers have appreciated in the las few years!

I've seen some high prices on them at gun shows. Much more than the original selling price. Over $600 for one I saw. I know my wife wouldn't sell hers for anything.

One just like it sold here locally (DFW) for $550 a few weeks ago.
I shoulda bought it.

I've seen blued Mustangs going for $600 and up at area gun shows.

a little over a year ago I came across these two "deals"

1 - Colt Government Pocketlite 99%mint, maybe fired twice $600.00

2 - Colt Mustang Blue in "good" condition $500.00

I bought a used Mustang about 4 years or so ago that had a discolored spot the size of a dime on the slide for $400. I cleaned it up and reblued the marred spot almost as good as new. $400 was a bargain.

I recently picked up a mint Pocketlite, mint box and papers...$600.

I thought I might have overspent..but it looks like they have really gone up!
