Chuck, thats one of the ones that started the search for me. I've been watching GunBroker and saving money............. I love that......

Thanks,
Tony

Ah I covet the DW CCO. I agree... that is not really a bobtail but DW does call them that. I am yet to see anyone bob an officer frame

They're too short. :)

My old, worn, LW Commander. My 3rd 1911. Still runs like a top. Not pretty, but dear to my heart.

Colt Combat Commander, from Colts Custom Shop, circa 1978, and still my all-time favorite.

Same boat. Just a tad short; it's close but no cigar.

Springfield Armory Lightweight Champion Operator. Great shooting out of the box 1911.

And some beautiful pistols shown here!! Thanks for sharing.

Here is my Kimber Pro TLE. I sold a 1973 Colt Combat Commander to fund the Kimber. The Colt was just too pretty to shoot and ended up a safe queen.

Mags, I've got that same little Gerber knife, fits perfect in my pocket while at the office.:) The Kimber Pro TLE is actually the model I have been looking at, fits my budget nicely, thanks for posting your pics.
