This is my long range baby. I got this from my uncle who put it together 25 years ago. As long as the barrel doesn't overheat it will put three rounds under a dime at 100 yards and has taken deer out to 400. The stock had some dings in it so I stripped it, steam ironed it and then applied 18 coats of tru oil. It has a Burris Fullfield II 3-9 riding on it's back now.
I also have a Rem 700 LV SF .223 but no pics of her yet.
This is mine even though I have not had a chance to stretch her legs past 100 yards.
Remington 1917 Enfield with a Douglas Match barrel chambered in 308 win. Stock is a custom california black walnut. The Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x40mm sits in Leupold mounts modified to fit this rifle. I am thinking of removing this stock and getting a laminate benchrest stock for it and sending the scope off to have the retical changed as this one is just way to fat for my liking.
This one is for ground hogs out to 400 yards.

When I burn out this barrel it will get a Krieger 4 grove 8 twist 223 AI barrel. While I am having this installed I will have the action blue printed. A jewell trigger in the 2 to 8oz range will be installed as well.
Mauser vz-24 trued, rebarreled to .30-284 The action is full length bedded as well as the floor plate. I machined a tipped rail for it. Since the picture it has been camo-ed and installed an adjustable comb, the kind where you cut out the stock and install a riser kit.
Here is what it does at 100 and 200 with cast bullets. 3 shots each.
Well there are a lot of non-believers here, but with MINE I can get.5" to 1" at a hundred yards on a good day with good conditions, etc. I am aiming to shoot competitively in the future. andthat's with open sights.
I really am a big fan of all your rifles, I can't get enough of all the remington 700s. Bought this 300 RUM a little over a year ago bone stock. It was just an SPS series 700 bdl. Over the past year I put a little money into it. I did the paint job myself with some rattle can, in my opinion it looks pretty good and shoots better than it looks. Killing small rocks at 700 yards. I really have yet to put it to the test. Hope you like it.
