Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Still working on this... Next is the new full size white pegboard... Re-finished the front of the cleaning bench to match the reloading bench...

I built a whole new bookcase to replace the old, beat up, dark wood one that was here. It's built in the same style as the hutches... came out pretty kewl...

Here's a different angle, showing the hutches and the TV/PC monitor...

That's an original small Advent speaker up there on that platform. The platform is also built in the same style as the hutches. There's a twin speaker on the other side of the cleaning bench, which puts my stool right about in the middle of the two...

gil - I like it, but I dont get the lock collection...someone should come up with a good use for those...like make a chain for vehicle recovery...

Finally got around to the white pegboard... A whole lot more of a pain in the ass than I'd assumed...

Another Shot... (I know... the locks are still there ;-) )

Got kind of carried away with the shelves that hold the speakers for the stereo/tv...

I've actually done a whole lot more work since these pictures were taken. I'm almost done... I hope... I'm so freakin' OCD...

There are seventeen freakin' locks on that pegboard... oy vey. I think it's time to put most of 'em in a drawer or something. I never even thought about it until you brought it up. It's just been...

new gun = hang lock on pegboard.

<------------ creature of habit...

Wow, I never thought about using peg board.. this should be a budget friendly DIY material. Thanks.

The big brown truck brought me a pitcher full of the more expensive Kool-aid than I already had today! More pics to come! YAY!!

My work space

Been planning my new bench for months and finally got it about 90% done. Once I get all the tools and garbage off of it I am going to post a few pictures...

I started by making a portable block out of 2 3/4" pieces of Plywood glued and screwed together. This allows me to clamp it to a 2 ft wide folding table when I want to reload inside.

We built a new house in 2009 and I built a workshop with A/C.

I installed some old entertainment center cabinets and topped them with a couple layers of 3/4" MDF which I then put Formica on top. I also put in some T-Track so that I could clamp the reloading block as needed.

This is the block clamped down.

This is a Step Stool that I built. I made the dimensions wider so my butt will fit. :D:D

I still have a little empty walls that will be filled up some day.

Just started reloading. Very simple setup.

StandingTall & hTx, welcome to THR!

P.S: What is the ESD wrist-band for?...do you also work on 'puters/electronics at the bench or does that help with static in the powder dispenser (or is it for something else handloading/firearms related)?

:)

hTx, very nice! Do you like the DP strong mount under that Hornady AP? How difficult was it to fit to the Hornady?

HTX, similar question to the above from SWATRET, would love to hear some details on how you did the Dillion StrongMount with the LNL AP.

Maverick223,

Thanks for the welcome!

The ESD band is just an "extra" precaution to prevent static discharge when I'm handling powder. The static gets pretty bad here during the winter. I realize that may be overkill to some, but I'm a electronic tech by trade and I've seen what static electricity can do.
