Show us a picture of your reloading bench

I just cut 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood to 4.5"x7", bolted it together to the predrilled holes on the 550B strong mount. Then I just mounted the press onto that piece of wood.
Youl'll have to use the 550B strong mount to get clearance, the 550B mount is 8.5" tall, vs the 650 mount which is only 6.5" tall.
It raises the LNL to the same height as my 650. Its a perfect height for me, no more leaning over and plus its now 10x sturdier.:D

The ESD band is just an "extra" precaution to prevent static discharge when I'm handling powder. The static gets pretty bad here during the winter. I realize that may be overkill to some, but I'm a electronic tech by trade and I've seen what static electricity can do.
I figured as much. I doubt it's necessary (especially for smokeless), but it's a minor inconvenience and certainly doesn't hurt anything. I use one for all my computer repairs (a couple partners and myself just started a small web-design & computer/network design/repair business), particularly when handling HDDs (which are the least likely component to be damaged because of the high capacitance of the Al. housing...but clients stored information is irreplaceable so I don't take chances).

Amature Bench

Hi, new to THR and been looking around and thought I'd throw out a couple of pictures of my bench. Just got back into reloading after retiring from 21 years with Uncle Sam. Used to reload with my dad back in the day. Designed and built this bench based on recollections from what he had (and didn't have) back then. Kind of rudimentary, but gets the job done. Wish I'd remembered the first rule of building a work bench - figure out how much space you'll need and then double it...

I like how you built around the windows. I have a lot of room but no windows. The natural light helps a lot plus you get a view. Nicely done.

sorry, that was poor judgement on my part to title my post like that.but thanks for the help.
No need to apologize, glad something isn't seriously awry; and you're welcome.

Duztoff, welcome and thank you for your service.

:)

Hi all!

@ flashhole - Thanks, when we finished adding on to the house, I convinced the wife to let me have the fourth bedroom for my bench, I chose the one with the double windows. It works great, we're in SC and they face south, so plenty (sometimes too much) sun!

@ VonFatman - Thank you, I've noticed the great atmosphere, and have already picked up a couple of tips! :D

@ LAH - AF SaR. Hueys, Jollys & Super Jollys. Thanks!

@ Maverick223 - Thanks, and it was my pleasure (for the most part...) ;)
