glc24, Very nice set up
how do you like your dillon is it a 550 ? I like that magnifying glass light combo too I have been thinking of adding one to my set up , could you say the brand and cost of that light combo,

Thanks JO JO
Love my Dillon, and it is a 550. I just added the case feeder 2 years ago. It's a bit tricky to get it adjusted, but once done it's flawless. I only use the 550 for pistol. My 5.56 are single stage.
The light is an OttLite brand. The cost now is 149.00, but that's for the floor model. Desk models are quite a bit less. I think I paid half that but that was over 20 years ago. I initially bought it when I was heavy into HO model railroading. Works great when working on firearms and reloading too!

Fixed the PhotoBucket Pics........
Made this over the period of 3 weeks with a good friend of mine that owns a custom cabinet business so the majority of the work is his, I got to sand and move stuff to and fro. 4 Presses mounted (currently) with room for expansion, adjustable shelving, which is upgrade-able to drawers, almost enough room for all my "stuff". The majority of my pistol brass, brass cleaning equipment, and gun cleaning stuff is in another part of the room. We installed it last weekend, due to the 20' counter-top, it was a 5 man job to get it in and it took 8 hrs to set the cabinets etc.

Finally got the presses mounted and most of my stuff moved. My old reloading bench is going to be cleaned up, modified and used as a project bench/cleaning station. I've still got my old RCBS Rockchucker mounted to it for de-priming

It served well, but was just a "little" cramped for what I had.

Very nice set up chuck. I like the camera on the scale idea.

Wish I could take credit for it!

There's a guy on YouTube that's done videos on modifying balance beam scales from England (he posts here). I caught a couple of his videos when I was looking into tuning my RCBS 10-10 and caught the camera idea from him. It really works well, increases accuracy, eliminates parallax and you can position the scale anywhere as long as you have access to the pan. I can literally see the impact of a kernel of 4831 or 4350.

I'm a newbie, literally just set this up today and not finished. I am a Electronics buff, but just fell out of doing it anymore, just dabble now, been interested in doing reloads for years, just never knew how to get started, now I have learned how to start, so here is my reload bench\Gun cleaning-smithing at times room, the shotguns and .50cal blackpowder rifle were given to me, they were stored in a aluminum shed and were completely covered in rust, they operate now, but a long way to go to finish, that's another project.....sigh....lol!
1st pic has my Tron, I brought this back from the dead a few years ago, got it at a steal for $100, I was working then, was healthy...

That is a pretty cool door you have!!! How much does it weigh?

I realized that since the Photbucket debacle, my reloading bench images are gone... :cuss:

Here they are again. I have a small "Harry Potter Closet" room in my basement that is 9x10. That's all I get, so I gotta make the best of it!

I made a separate Powder locker, and I put my scales on this. This isolates the scales from the rest of the bench to prevent shaking, etc., and gives me a nice secure powder storage location that meets the local fire codes:

Nice pictures James, and a sweet reloading area you got. I'm waiting on a delivery from Inline Fabrications (currently stuck in UK customs :( ) and will give my update once I've given my bench a good spring cleaning while installing the new gear.

Were in a smaller house in order to be in a decent neighborhood and close to work so there isn't any space for a dedicated bench so I needed something small and portable.
I got my inspiration from the Minecraft chest I made for my son a while back

My next project was a powder chest of a similar design
shrunk-KIMG0059.jpg
So I kept with the theme and made an ammo crafting table. Its in two sections to made it easier to carry downstairs from my closet.
First is a base.
shrunk-IMG_20170826_1037043.jpg
Then I latch the second part on
shrunk-IMG_20170826_1038377.jpg
Then open the drawer for the press
shrunk-IMG_20170826_1039327.jpg
and sit everything on top
shrunk-IMG_20170826_1039544.jpg
then close the drawer and attach
shrunk-IMG_20170826_1040193.jpg
Its not quite finished yet as I'm going to make a second drawer and dividers to keep stuff organized.

Thanks guys for the good remarks. Last night I had a water line burst while we slept and woke up to a flooded home and guess where all the water ran ? Yep in the basement and over my new reloading setup.Spent all day cleaning up and a team from Service Master will be drying out the house for the next 5 days, then replacing all the laminent flooring on the first level of our log home. What a day.....Got to use my bench twice anyway.....:)
