To the gentlemen with the converted Saigas:

Did you convert these yourself? If so, how hard was the actual conversion? What tools do I need? Thanks.


it's easy. only tools you need are a dremel and a drill, really. basic handtools.

do a google search for "saiga conversion" and some good step by step how-to's pop up. saiga-12.com is also a great resource. conversion can be done for as little as $113, just got to find the parts at decent prices

A Sar 1 with ultimak, mojo rear sight, k+n reticle front sight, slant brake, tapco fcg and 1" butt pad extension. Mucho warsaw pact fun!

Piece of cake for a saiga conversion. Need a dremmel, drill and 2 hours and your set. Its only an extra $100 for all the parts like grip stock, and trigger group. The website i used was something like cross-conn.com/saigaconversion or other.
