I thought this might be a fun way for all of us to do a little boasting. I'll start with my best for the day. 15yrds off hand, 230grn Lee RN TL boolet over 3.5grns of Bullseye. I just couldn't keep this one to my self.

Let's see some of your best!

This is the first 15 rounds out of a NIB S&W Model 637-2.

Three tries and still no pic. Just a message that I already uploaded it. :cuss:

I am not a skilled target shooter and I don't own may handguns that would be called serious target pistols. But here goes. I think all are at 50'.

From a 6" Colt Python using full power 125 grain Magnum ammo.

OK, this is one of my few serious target pistols.

This 44 Special Colt SAA is definitely NOT a target pistol. But it's good enough to get the job done at the OK Corral.

A 1950 Colt 38 Officers Model did this.

Not bad for a 60 year old H&R Sportsman.

An as issued Norinco 1911.

My favorite group from a 1950 44 Special S&W.

Far from as good as you guys are shooting, but here are 20 rounds at 50-55'. I've only been shooting a year and a half, but I've recently made a break through in my shooting. This is from my last outing.

CZ SP01 stock
115 grain Speer Lawman 9mm
50-55'

ok, I'll play...

4" S&W 617 .22LR revolver, 5 rounds, 25 yards, standing unsupported, double action:

From a recent postal match here on THR. 3 rounds, 10 yards, rested (bottom) and standing, unsupported (top) with my (DAO) 4" S&W 686 revolver.

6" K-38 Masterpiece .38spl revolver, 5 rounds, 15 yards, standing, unsupported, double action:

I'll break out the ol' 10m air pistol once in a while, shooting standing, unsupported, 1 handed, 10m, official 10m pistol target:

Boy, I hope I can get my DAO shooting up to that level, MrBorland. I have practiced and practiced to the point where I am confident that I can hit what I am aiming at shooting DA, but I can't print groups like that. My accuracy DA is more along the lines of everything into a piece of printer paper that represents center mass. Curiously, I can do it rapidly, but I can't do all that well in slow fire....

.

From a range outing last month in a dimly lit indoor range. I cheated using a sandbag to rest my hands on for this target.

Six shots per orange square.

This is more typical of my "skill". 25 yards unsupported, same range day.

I've got a ways to go before catching up to MrBorland...these are as good as it gets for me.

Why yes it is. You know we use round balls and you all use those new
fangled long things you all call bullets. At least my round ball won't tumble
end over end:evil:

I guess I will give it a go.
1911 RIA Tactical .45 ACP Shooting from about 7-9 yards I think
Ammo was WWB. Forgot total round count and so did the paper.

Chicharrones,

Nice sig :D

This was one of the first groups I ever shot with this gun so naturally it was one of the first loads I ever worked up for it. There's a lot better here, but I've never laid claim to being any great shakes with a pistola. Sure is fun though.

Well, I don't have a photo of it, but my best shot was hitting a standard sporting clay target at a range of 200 yards with a 6" barreled Ruger Blackhawk (open sights). 158 grain handloads. It was a BRILLIANT shot. (And it only took me 27 rounds to range the gun in...lol).
