new sandalwood grips for my 92...will post a new picture once I get the original barrel recoated and the compensator put on...doesnt look right to me with the stainless barrel...I like the grips a lot tho, got them from a seller on ebay in thailand...took 2 weeks.
The wood from these grips came from a shipping pallet. My neighbor was using it for firewood, and he let me have a chunk. I think it's mahogany. Took a couple hours to make using a table saw, drill press, and a belt sander.
Picked these up cheap on ebay, I liked them but i felt they were missing something.
Then i set some pewter Jolly Rodger skull and bones into the wood and buried it and then dug them up so it has a look like they were formed inside the grips.
Many people have expressed they liked the original grips better untouched, But i like when my personal touch on everything.
These Hardwood PAU FERRO are from Kahr and im waiting to come up with a design to have a guy do some custom checkering on them.
