SHOW YOUR OLD POWDER!

My shrine to Unique...

I've got a bunch of old empty cans but this full can of Dupont #80 is my crown jewel. For those that don't know, this is the powder Elmer Keith used for his heavy .44Spl loads before the advent of 2400 in the 1930's. Dupont #80 hasn't been made in 100yrs. Need to take a pic but the powder is yellow and presumably still good. I need to put together a few of his loads and chronograph them.

Does the cap on the Unique serve a purpose, other than being "Unique"?

It's a pop-up. They seal pretty good actually.

It’s just what they did it the “old days”. It is much easier to see if anyone has ever opened them…

That one between the 20 & 8lb 3031 containers is what they look like when you buy them, without the dust…before being opened for the first time.

Like a spout on a 5g bucket lid. Those do usually work really well.
I've never seen a 20# can before, can you read the price tag?

All the oldies I have are full other than the Green Dot 3lb can (I shot it all in slug loads for 12ga). The other cans are majority sealed. They won't stay that way, however, as I plan to load with it all.
