Just picked up a like new P220.oh my goodness what a tack driver:D .i've never shot so well from the first mag with a new gun before,i love this thing.while i didn't care for the rubber wrap around grip the previous owner put on it,i peeled it off before i got to the range.i would like to try some softer grips.some recomendations from fellow sig lovers would be greatly appreciated.

Hogue Grips are pretty good and come with either finger-grooves or without.

They do add a bit of thickness to the grip though.

Both my Sigs are tack drivers. Enjoy!!!! :)

I second the Hogue grips. The ones without the finger grips don't seem to add as much bulk. Adding these grips to make a great gun even better. Those hard plastic factory grips were just way too slick.

If it's and issue with being slick you could try some skate-board tape (they also make stuff just for weapons use) on the front strap and or back strap.

I'll second the Hogue grip option if you are looking for entirely new grips.

Hogue also re-checkers the factory SIG plastic grips. They are alot more secure than the original ones. Hogue offers these via one of their auction websites and I believe they run around $25. They are nice if you want to maintain the slim grip profile but with a more secure grip surface. For me, since I have large hands, I usually use the Hogue rubber grips with the finger grooves.
