I own 4 different 9mm pistols, however, I am curious as to who owns the sig. 226 and Beretta 92FS both in 9mm, and what your thoughts are on these two?
Here's my take on them, I bought both new 3-4 years ago.
Beretta 92FS:
Never ever a FTF of any kind regardless of ammo.
I think it's a better looking gun.
Sig. 226
2 issues with the slide not locking back after the last shot. Both times were the 2nd time out with the new gun, and at 200-250 rounds.
The 226 has been FTF free for about 6-8000 rounds since
For me, I get much tighter groupings with the sig.
If I had to choose only one, it would be the Sig. 226 only because of the better accuracy "for me", and I like the de-cocker feature better than the manual safety on the 92FS, also IMO the trigger is better on the Sig. 226.
What's your take?
