SiG 522 - Where is it?

I'm now seeing the new SiG 522 advertized in magazines, but I don't see a single one available for sale.

Why do manufacturers do this, it's annoying to say the least.

Has anyone actually seen one of these rifles for sale yet?

I just found about this gun a couple days ago and have been looking around. Actually came here to post the same question this evening.

I've seen it on budsgunshop.com as out of stock. I've at least one other website offering it for sale but they looked sketchy.

Have there been any reviews? I haven't found any, not even forum people showing off a 522 they've purchased. One forum post somewhere suggested the gun had not been made yet and they were advertising it to gauge interest. Anyone know who is actually manufacturing it?

My dealer said they wouldn't be available until year end. In SIG time that probably means next year.

Ah, cool that's great info. Lots of fun rimfire toys coming out between the SR22, three HK clones, and this.

My local dealer has them in stock for $449 (no sights). I may wheel on over and take a peak at them....
