I've held and shot several P245's. Love the look of it; the feel is ok for me, albeit a little too short in the grip. SWMBO thought it was too long in the trigger for her, even with a short trigger. I never felt like I was as accurate with the P245 as I am with my P220, though, which I do think is a better 'feeling' pistol to my hand. I'd love to own one. For that matter, I'd like two. That doesn't mean it's my favorite SIG.
Don't get me wrong, I like small big bore pistols. I'm not a large person..in fact, I'd say I'm skinny, yet I conceal the P220 well. I shoot most small .45's well; we've got a Springer Micro Compact in the household that's a sweet shooting, nearly perfect pistol. SWMBO's carry item, to be exact.
My daily carry is a P229 /357sig; thought I'd just throw that in.
My own opinion is SIG is succumbing to AR-itis by putting rails on everything, and the P220 Carry is one abominable looking excuse of an expensive pistol. Of course, I also think pistols should be either black OR shiny, not black AND shiny. I guess two-tone is the 'new black', the way they're marketing it. Another way to look at it is that SIG is reading out of S&W's marketing plan from 1999 and creating 'new models' that are the same model with one item changed.
<shudder>
I guess someone really will buy a single-action P220.
At least they gave us a new rifle.

Rabbit.
