Hello all,

I have a SIG P226 (9mm) that I want to have some trigger work done on. Has anyone here sent their pistol in to SIGARMS for the SIGARMS Action Enhancement Package for $120.00?

If so, how would you rate the work done as compared to Teddy Jacobsen, and/or TJ's Custom Gunworks? I am not necessarily looking for a "Competition" trigger job. I just want to have the trigger slicked up a little bit, as well as have a detail cleaning done on the whole pistol.

Has anyone used any other gunsmith to work over the trigger on their SIG? If so, can you provide details and a link if possible? Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

I had Actions by ("T" ) do a trigger job and install a shorter trigger and was very pleased with his work and had the "T" logo put on my Sig 228.

i've handled sigs with triggers done by "actions by T" and they were very nice.

i had ernest langdon tune the trigger on my beretta 96 before he started doing sigs and can highly recommend his work...just about the best "bang for the buck" by a "name" smith. if i had a sig that hadn't already been worked over i'd likely send it to him.

i had my 220 action tuned by a LOCAL smith and it is simply awesome...easily a nice as a well used smith wheelgun. he has since move out of the state, but i would also highly recommend him:

I'd get the work done by Ernest Langdon. I've shot Berettas and Sigs that have been done up by Erny. This man knows triggers. Best of all...Sig will warrany any trigger work done by Ernest!

Teddy Jacobson recently reworked the action on my Sig P232 and I am very pleased with his work. His attention to detail is wonderful.

langdon has two advantages, when working over a sig, over other smiths. his work does not void your factory warranty and he has access to action parts of various generations...which he can mix and match for optimal performance

i got the level 2, with the "D" spring, for duty and drop in his "competition" spring, which i guess makes it a level #, for fun shooting

I have a Teddy Jacobson P220. It is a very fine duty action job, a good deal lighter and smoother DA, some lighter SA. Still has some trigger slap, I should'a had him put a trigger stop in.

I would expect fine work from Ernest Langdon. He is a great shooter and a pleasant guy and is building a reputation for good gunsmithing.

I've handled several different guns done by "name" gunsmiths, and the trigger/action jobs done by Ernie Langdon on five different SIGs owned by members of our IDPA club are among the best I've ever encountered...

That guy clearly knows what he's doing. He seems to have turned an "art" into a "science" -- as they all felt the same: wonderful.
