Rather unusual to see SIG in a shotgun forum, but my curiousity got the better of me.

I don't know if the change is complete and / or permanent but the only shotgun currently listed is the Blaser F3.

Last year, the Blaser was buried in a pdf with Sauers appearing on the web site.

The F3 is out of my price range, but I'm curious if anybody else noticed the last "American Rifleman" review of the F3? Although I've never seen AR issue an unkind word, the pattern results are "unretouched" and the F3's looked more like regulating targets from a British double rifle. I've not been paying attention all that long: were the Blaser results as abnormal as I think they were (near perfect POI = POA). Presumably, the SC model was intended to shoot flat and the trap model would be a skosh high. (?) Makes one wonder if Blasers would routinely pattern that well.

Intriguing might apply to the price as well: one fanboy at the range noted that it boasts the modularity to allow for a DT-10 type round count. That would have Blaser sorta low-balling the market they're going after. I believe the post-plain F3 is comfortably under the undecorated DT-10.

So who's got one? Are they really all that and a bag of chips?

Are we going to start seeing a lot more of them now that SIGArms is warming up the marketing department?

I hope to see plenty. The thing seems to be a high quality shotgun and the maker a class act.

The grapevine says Bobby Fowler has one and will be campaigning with it this season.
