sights for old eyes

I am having issues with 3 dot sights. Red dot will not work for me since this is my CC gun.

Do any of you have experience with the Hienie straight 8 or the Big Dot style sights? I have also thought about recoil spring laser but I am not sure about it. This is on a Glock by the way and someone put 3 dot tritium on it.

Any advice would be helpful.

I really like the XS Big Dot sights. They're easy to pick up quick. I don't like tritium on the rear, though.

My son has the Ashley Big Dot sight setup on his Glock 19. That front dot really grabs your attention when you bring the gun up to shoot, along with the shallow "V" notch rear. Fast on target at "social encounter" ranges. I'm seriously thinking about having them put on my G30SF. I'm 60, and the old eagle eyes ain't what they used to be, and I think the Ashley's might just be the ticket. YMMV
