Here's the deal, there's this band called Sister Hazel who have been my favorite band ever since I heard their song "All for you". Anyhow, they've got a new album coming out and along with it, a tour. The only problem is, they never seem to come around to the Dallas Forth Worth Area. So, I have created a petition asking them to come to the DFW area, and it would make my day if you guys could sign it. The URL is http://www.petitiononline.com/afybab/petition.html

Just to keep this topic gun related, do you take an artist's stance on gun control in mind when you ask yourself if you want to buy their album or movie? Let's just say that I'm never ever ever going to pay my money to see another George Clooney's movie- ever.

Absolutely do.

Politics too.

Treasonous oral diarrhea a la BS (never thought about her initials before...) especially.

If an actor, actress or musician is vocal about being anti 2nd then I will not pay to see their movie or buy there music.

I signed your petition

Petition signed.

By the way, the new Sister Hazel album is amazing. I got it on preorder a couple weeks ago, and I was awestruck by their performance this time around. Great, great album.

In response to your question, I never used to pay attention to actors' political stances, but I am trying to now. And I completely agree with you on the George Clooney issue.

Only because it's you, my friend.

As much as I like Steve Earle, he is a nutty Marxist.

Music I buy for entertainment I will not buy if they're lefties, but if the musical value is there, I still will. Kind of like buying a lefty book for educational purposes, I also buy music for ideas.

I feel safe buying Country music, at least, even if most of it isn't that...ahem...never mind.
