Similarities between deer and Kangaroos...

One of the more interesting photos I got last week. Note how close he tucks his front legs under the chest and uses the hind legs to push off.....almost has a Kangaroo look about him.

The cursory resemblance is there, though 'roos don't have to tuck their front legs in close to their bodies when they jump because their front legs are so short and their hind legs give them the ability to jump so high.

They both have hair, 4 legs and 2 ears, at least. I always considered a "Roo" to resemble
a moose more than a deer, but what do I know. Cheers

Actually, Roo tastes very similar to venison as well.

You arent going to see a cow or a bison jump an 8 foot fence. Run through it yes, Over it, not so much.

Yeah, sorry we had cattle up until I was fifteen years or so and I've seen several bulls/cows run through a fence never seen them jump over one.
