I've been shooting a 1911 for over 15 years and was looking for another .45 single stack pistol that's not a single action 1911. I have short fingers and glocks, Sigs and xd has a too longer trigger reach. I've read reports that the glock 36, ruger 345 and the Kahr 45s all have problems. Is there any other single stack non 1911 .45acp pistol without issues?

Have you gotten your hands on a new e2 (that's e-squared for "enhanced ergonomics") grip SIG? Or a SIG with their SRT Trigger (that's an acronoym for Short Reset Trigger - Trigger; from SIG's department of redundancy department). All joking aside, I have short fingers too, and 1911s are a great fit for me as well. The SRT makes SIG triggers down right comfortable for me, so you may want to try one.

The old S&W 3rd Gen 45xx series are single stack .45 ACP pistols as well. But I find the double stack S&W M&P, FN FNP-45, and SA XD to all have shorter trigger reach than the S&W 45xx series.

Otherwise, yes the Ruger P345 had teething issues, but they fixed them. Have you read how many bad reports are on the internet about 1911s?

There is a single-action version of the Sig P220. Its trigger reach is about the same as that of the DA/SA when the trigger is in single-action mode. If you can find a Third Generation Smith & Wesson (4506, 4516, etc.) to try, they have relatively slender grips and a little shorter reach to the DA trigger, and are extremely rugged and reliable.

I've read reports that the glock 36, ruger 345 and the Kahr 45s all have problems.
:scrutiny:

So the issues with the ruger 345 were just early production problems?

I've got a few of the smaller grip 45's here's my opinion on a couple.

Kahr P45 - I have to say of all of my polymer Kahrs of which I have five now and have owned two others; the P45 is the best and has been from day one. Never required the slide lock to chamber the first round, super accurate and fit's my hand better than all other polymer Kahrs, my K40 fits me well also. It's accurate as can be, I put an inner tube on for a grip, it's a great pistol and what I've been carrying IWB exclusively lately. It holds 6+1 but there is a ton of room left in the mag so I'm sure with some tinkering I'll get 7+1 with 100% reliability. Kahr mag springs are the best in the business.

Taurus PT145 Pro - 10+1, great gun also. Straight Eight sights suck, you can get a 24/7 rear sight and have good three dot sights. Mag springs suck, I replaced mine with OEM Glock 30 ten round mag springs, they work great. There are some bad mags and weak mag release springs out there but if you make Taurus CS promise to send you replacements they will.

Glock 36 - I bought this gun for the sole pupose of using upper on a Glock 29SF frame with Glock 30 mags. It's dead reliable, has nice mag options (9, 10 and 13 round) but recoil is harsh and it's fat as in SF: Still Fat! I always hated the Glock 36 because of the grip which is really a two finger with an extension on the mags. They suck for mag changes and with a 6+1 pistol, I always carry a reload. The P45 is the better single stack and has factory 7 round mags for reloads and range, unlike the Glock 36. There are +1 extensions available but you need extended, non-OEM springs.
