The machine does not workie dry. Lube as directed and lube often. Also Don't force movement. If it don't want to rotate smoothly, rotate the plate with your finger frontwards or backward which ever if allows until it clicks......then carry on. Also keep it clean. Dirt and powder residue are the enemy.
I always rotate by hand a click before starting anything, when the press has been idle for a few days. But thats good advice for any progressive.
Oh important....raise the shell plate part way before you hand rotate to release everything making it freely rotate.
