Sks and 922r compliance

Actually it is on them to prove the parts are not US made. Whether you or some no name company made them, they do not need to be stamped US. Has a random individual ever actually been convicted from 922r? I could be wrong but I don't believe so.
I think companies importing firearms are the only ones really paying attention to 922r.

Why take a chance on it? With my luck I'd be prosecuted for sure if I didn't abide by it.

Do you know the difference between a metal part made abroad and one made in the US? Nada.
Even in the 1 and a million chance it was stamped 'Made in Russia', well there's no law that says I can't make my own US made piece and stamp it the same to retain authenticity of my investment. Even if the metal came from Russia, the part had to be 'made' in the US. See why there's never any prosecutions?
