Hello all!

I need a "Slim Jim" style holster for my Colt's Revolving Belt Pistol of Naval Caliber (Colt Navy) .36 caliber. I'd like a cross draw (I'm right handed) and would greatly prefer either a dark brown/walnut or black color. I'm not looking for any fancy carvings or anything, I just need a quality holster that won't come apart on me and that will allow me to safely carry my Navy in the field, loaded and capped, for self defense against predators and human attackers. I'm assuming I'll need one that covers the caps to keep them from going off if bumped. I also would like some good retention so the piece doesn't fall out onto the earth.

If anyone out there can recommend some makers for me, that'd be tremendously appreciated. Price is no object, but I'd like to keep it under $150 if possible.

Thanks all! :)

VERY nice Mr. Wright.

I checked on the website mentioned and saw the current lead time is now 10-12 months.

This is somewhat disconcerting to me. I don't believe I can wait that long. Ha!

Send Craig an Email. He might be able to deliver a little quicker. And get a quote. I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Beautiful pistol! Looks like my Uberti. I like the looks and feel of my '51 even more than my '60 Army or 1873. Must be the octagon barrel.

I got this from IDAHOMIKE @ A Touch of Yellow Leatherwerkes , about 3 years ago . Nice price & fast turn around . I liked the holster , but the belt is not as stiff as I would like .

I just ordered a set of custom grips for my Ruger Blackhawk.
My next item to buy will be a holster from Craig. It will be a few months but I definitely want one of his. I will likely go with the slim jim as well.
