I don't like Remingtons. All the rest that I've tried have been just fine. I guess my favorites are Federal and Wolf.
Like zxcvbob said, if they fire on the second strike your buddy probably isn't seating them deep enough. He probably isn't used to Wolf primers because they are new to him so he doesn't realize they aren't bottomed. A reliable second strike ignition is the classic sign of a primer that isn't bottomed. The first strike bottoms the primer and the second sets it off.My buddy bought a bunch of Wolf a few months ago when nothing else was available. His SIG .40 will not fire about one out of twenty. They do fire on the second strike.
That's harsh, he just doesn't want her to go out and buy new clothes cause he got primers. The only reason I'm not married is I'm ugly as hell.Sounds like your Old Lady is a hard ass. Another reason why Im not married.
I would never sneak primers into my house, that's strictly for new guns!
I hate it when the basement window sticks though.
Has anybody chronographed the difference between mag and standard primers in any brand with a given load?
