Micheal Smerconish has a poll up today on whether we need as a nation to revisit the question of semi-automatic weapons. I think we do. Only because I think even in the face of current events we are in a more supportive environment than we have been in years.

This question is even more open ended and ambiguous than the NY Daily News poll. Revisit? How? To what end? What are we looking to accomplish?

Welcome to THR.
And why do we care what this guy thinks? No one is actually interested in having a debate on semiautomatic firearms because we are not going to reasonably see everything but bolt and pump and single shot firearms removed from the public.
