All right, thought I'd do some mini reviews in case this helps anyone else. I should mention I actually rarely carry a gun but it was too hard to pass up all the used J-frame stuff floating around out there.
First, the Altamont rosewood grips are pretty neat. Not as comfortable as the stock rubber boot grips, but they're pretty good and don't cause your shirt to ride up.
The Crossbreed is a big holster, but it's so flat and smooth it's probably my favorite. It just disappears when you're wearing it. I'd never tried this style before and I really like it now.
The Galco is a very nice holster and it's easy to take on/off. It also is very thick and becomes quite a lump in your belt, and tends to move around a little. Probably the one I'd use if I weren't going to be wearing it a long time.
Bianchi shoulder rig is comfortable, easy to wear, and holds the gun securely. Also makes you look like a '70s detective. On the down side, where the gun naturally sits is hard to reach with your strong hand, and for those who care it keeps the muzzle pointed squarely into your armpit. Probably would wear this if I were going to be driving a lot.
