I'm pretty savy using Google but I'm stumped on finding selection of holsters for the 69. Particularly a kydex one. I know it's sinful to even talk about putting a wheel gun into a kydex. But it would be for my hunting pack in nasty weather and I'd rather not have to worry about the leather. Also I don't want a thumb break. The usual suspects that make kydex holsters only make pistol or J frame or K frame holsters.

Any ideas?

It should fit into any L frame holster.
Look at anyone making a 686 holster.
If they're one of the smaller custom kydex guys, they should be able to make it without the cylinder flutes.

I would contact zero concealment first, they've been great to work with in the past, turned out a well thought out holster and mag pouch for me that was excellently executed in a very short time at a good price.
I highly recommend seeing what they can do for you.

The M69 is a L frame revolver and the K and L frame revolvers will fit in the same current holsters. (and all the older k frame specific holsters too)

L-Frames are slightly larger than K-Frames, and the L cylinders have more girth. Grips are interchangeable between K & L frames, but holsters (other than the cheap nylon or cloth types) are not, especially the unforgiving Kydex type holsters.

I carried a 686 and a M19 in a bianchi black widow. The L frame 686 was a very snug fit, but worked just fine.

The M69 is definitely an L frame. Yes, grips interchange, but the frame is larger and may not work in all K frame holsters

Thanks guys.
I carry in the waist belt of a Tenzing pack. The way its set up there's a belt on the outside of the waist belt then a pocket that sandwiches the gun between the waist belt and the pocket. So last year I found that leather holsters seemed to get too compressed and drawing and holstering was tough. But I did try my kydex with my Glock and it worked better.

Yes, the M69 is an L frame. I have no idea why I wrote K frame. I know the M66 is a K frame and for some reason lumped in the M69. I hope I didn't cause confusion. I corrected my original post...
