Smith Model 41 Ammo - Accuracy and Function

I'm waiting in CA to take delivery of a new Model 41. Are CCI's Mini-Mags too hot?

During this time I'd be interested and appreciative to know from you Model 41 shooters which brands of ammo and loads within those brands have provided the best accuracy as well reliability of pistol functioning.

No, they are not too hot, and should work well in the Model 41.

However, you may get better accuracy with standard velocity loads like CCI Green-Tag.

Hi-Velocity loads break the sound barrier at the muzzle, and again as they slow down at 30 - 40 yards or so.
And the added turbulence does not promote Match-grade accuracy if that is your goal.
