Snapped a few pics of my New Ruger Precision Rifle

I have always admired the Ruger company and shoot one of their early #1's along with a revolver. I even bought castings from their Pine Tree foundry and toured it along with another plant of theirs!

However that 'new' gun is not attractive to me at all. They must have done market research and found someone wants one! You even wrote your blurb here about it to get us to look!

Good looking photos of a good looking rifle, and thank you for the lighting blog heads up.

Getting it into my head that it is ok to use a flash during the daytime to offset the back light was a feat in and of it self.

It all depends on what your needs are and what you're looking for. For example, I don't have any use for #1's but l have 900 - 1000 rds through my RPR and love it. For some folks, pretty is as pretty does, and as far as lower cost options for getting into PRS style shooting go, the RPR is very attractive.

Have you been out to 1600 meters with it? Looks like it should do that! Your rifle is amazing.

Also, don't let Elon Musk know what you have built. He would take it to the next level and design one where no marksman is required.
