A 6.5 CM weighs 10.5 lbs.

Of course that may not matter. Depends on where you hunt and how you do it.

And that's before optic.

Not exactly something I'd take "still hunting" or "spot and stalk". Probably fine for a stand over-watching row-crop fields, but even for that I'd like something more maneuverable than a 24" barrel with muzzle device. I hunt western KS quite a bit and my RPR stays home. I usually hike in quite a bit already carrying a backpack with tripod and after sitting a bit, we normally still hunt the drainage areas using blockers.
