Thanks for the comments guys, again, I already bought the Rossi, so I cant go back for another gun.

Also, this is just going to be my summer CCW, seeing as South Texas has the hottest most uncomfortable weather I have ever been in.
So until I can get back to a normal climate I will be carrying this more often than naught

My old CCW gun back home was a IWI Jericho in 45acp, but its pretty big and heavy for shorts and t-shirts

Almost forgot
The trigger has smoothed out considerably on the Rossi, I bought some snap caps and have been "breaking it in" with some oil, and it feels much smoother

captainofiron,
Dry firing the revolver with snap caps is probably the best thing you can do you the revolver trigger and for yourself. You will develop good trigger control dry firing.

Glad you're happy with your new revolver...

Thanks ArchAngel

when I first got it the trigger felt clunky, but now its pretty good in double action, and with the hammer back its really great

not to mention its a great forearm work out, hahaha

I have a Taurus 650 and a smaller revolver in .17 MACH. I got the first one because it was the smallest 45 Colt revolver I had ever seen and the .17 on account of because CDNN had them for cheap. Both run very well, and the 450 is a dynamite carry gun, a little heavy for the pocket, but it puts out 5 shots of really heavy 45 Colt rounds in fine order. The little one shoots 9 very loud rounds quite accurately for a 2 incher.
I am not going to sell all my Colts and Smiths, but for a budget gun they are kind of neat.

Yeah, I got an EAA Windocator last week-- not new to guns or more specifically revolvers, but I did want a nice "beat around" snubbie. At $249 (minus $25 GM took off because I bought the display), I am pretty happy. The finsih was decent (except the chopped barrel) and the trigger is not too bad in DA. Accuracy is the norm for a 2" pistol, not a tack driver, but it will put .357mag and .38spl in a man sized target at bedroom range.

I am not, and have never been a gun snob-- I would get a a Colt, SW, or Ruger if I had the money-- but I have 4 kids, an ex wife, and a current wife. The economy is in the crapper, and I make 1/2 (literally) what I did 2 years ago.

The WIndicator is not my carry pistol, but it does ride shotgun in the car and the bed frame with pride...

:)
